About Uday
A calm, intuitive and holistic guide
Uday is a counsellor and meditation guide. He works calmly, intuitively and holistically, meeting each person as a whole. He uses an integrated, person-centred approach, drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Existential Therapy and Trauma-Informed Therapy, whichever combination fits the person in front of him.
He spent almost a decade as a crisis support volunteer and in-shift supervisor with Lifeline, where he was proud to play a part in helping people through some of the hardest moments of their lives. That experience, staying steady under real pressure, still shapes how he shows up in every session.
Meditation isn’t theory for Uday either. As part of his own path of self-actualisation, he spent 2021–2022 walking 3,500 km along the banks of the Narmada River in India as a monk. He brings that same discipline into the personalised meditation practices he builds with clients: practical and grounded, yet genuinely deep.
He is a father, and a lost dream keeps prompting him to do right by family and the wider community, which is, in many ways, why Aum Holistics exists.
Vision & mission
We meditate for peace. We counsel for contentment.
Our mission is to guide individuals toward lasting peace through meditation taught by trained instructors, and toward lasting contentment through counselling provided by qualified professionals.
Our meditation programs are structured and guided step by step, so that peace becomes a practice people can build and sustain on their own. Our counselling offers a space to understand and work through what’s difficult, so that contentment doesn’t depend on circumstances going right.
Peace as a priority. Contentment as a necessity.
